What are the benefits of getting recruited in Germany?

The medical profession has high demand all over the world. A medical practitioner has good job prospects in this country as well. According to the latest survey that is conducted by the German Medical Association, it is found that there are a demand and replacement vacancies of 51000 doctors by 2022. Thus, it is a good sign if you are looking forward to working in Germany.

The doctors are recruited in government hospitals in Germany or can work as an employee with big group practices. They can even start their medical practice. 

The Salary expectations in Germany in the medical field are quite high. It is a well-paid profession with average salaries between 65,000 Euros per year for an assistant doctor (Assistenzarzt) and about 80,000 Euros for a specialist (Facharzt).

Internships

When a doctor joins a Clinical clerkship in Germany, there is a salary offer of 4000 Euros per month. Thus, by doing an initial internship in a government hospital for five years, he can hone his clinical skills as well as go for research levels. There is a promotion according to the years of your professional experience and there is a rise in your salary accordingly. After completing a 5-year residency, a doctor can take the relevant exams and become a specialist in his field.

Salaries in hospitals in Germany

Physicians who work at university hospitals and have a collective agreement with the 34 university hospitals in Germany do enjoy higher salaries than their counterparts. 

While their working hours are more than their colleagues i.e. 48 hours to 60 hours a week but chief physicians at the top level of their career earn the most. The salaries are around 278,000 Euros per year. 

But high salaries come with high expectations and a high workload so; doctors have to sacrifice their free time as well. The responsibilities of a physician are divided into a tripartite division of treating patients, research, and teaching. It gives them a lot of variety and interdisciplinary contacts.
